What is KillaCampaigns?
KillaCampaigns is a manager for hardcore gamers who want a place to collect information about their games (Dnd is the only game supported at the moment), players and characters in one place. With it, a Game Master can Create a Campaign, invite others to create their characters and add them to his campaign, and then have an excellent working knowledge of exactly what a character is like before they enter your game on a weekly basis. After each adventure, your players can update their own characters which can be viewed by anyone in the campaign. Players can also store their contact information in the system so that others in their group can contact them.
KillCampaigns Privacy Policy
The personal information stored in KillaCampaigns Account (name,phone, etc) information will never be sold, distributed or used to contact an account holder by KillaCampaigns with the exception of email (which may be used to notify users in the event of emergencies or notifications). This completely optional information is only for use by other members of common campaigns and may be input at user discretion. It will not be exposed to users outside campaign members in campaigns selected by the user. Such selection of a campaign implies trust in the members of the campaign. User may, at any time, leave a campaign if they choose to no longer expose their personal information to that campaign. KillaCampaigns pledges our utmost respect for your privacy and encourages you to take whatever steps necessary to ensure the privacy of your personal information.
Why store my character here instead of another program?
First off, you don't have to install anything. If you're looking at this page then you've already got all the software you'll ever need to store your character and, better yet, make it available to your DM at HIS convienience, not yours. Ever forget your character sheet at home? If your DM has net access and a printer then you never need to remember anything more than your dice. Need another copy because you spilled soda or got Dorito-grease all over it? No problem. Ever come back to a city that you took notes on 3 years ago (real time) and are unable to remember that inn-keepers name because you lost your notes in your last move? You can logon and print all of your game notes out from any browser. Everything that has ever happened to this character can be kept here without worry of hard drive crash or installing anything other than your favorite browser.
How do I get my browser to print the black boxes on my character sheet correctly?
If the black boxes are printing inverted, try this: In Microsoft internet explorer, click Tools and select Internet Options. Click on the advanced tab and scroll down until you see an item labeled "Print Background Colors and Images". Put a check in and hit OK. Instructions for Netscape forthcoming!
Do I have to Pay for this?
I don't have any immediate plans to charge as I currently have only 4251 users so far. You'll get a couple of months warning though so you can jump ship with all your valuables.
How Do I Create a Character?
After you have logged into your account for the first time, you will see a hyperlink called "New Character" on the left navigation. Click this button and fill in the information that pertains to your character. If you do not know all of the information, leave the item blank. You can come back and edit the character later. Click Save when done.
How Do I join a Campaign?
Once you have Created an account, you may join a Campaign. The first step is usually Creating a character . Once you've created your character, you can click the "Join Campaign" button on the left navigation bar. Here you will type (or paste) in the CampaignID and Password you were sent with your emailed invitation. You then select your character name (This is why it is important to create a character first) or "Guest Character", and click the Join button. Once done, you should be able to click on the Campaign Info button next to your character's name (displayed at the bottom center when you're logged in) and view the Campaign information. If you are logging in as a guest, KillaCampaigns will create a character with your name and -guest. You can edit this character with any character information you like and mold this into your new character or delete it and create a new one.
